THE ARTSY INSTITUTE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.1 Your Application is an offer to enter into a binding contract with The Artsy Institute to purchase a place on our summer camps, workshops or seminars. Your offer is only accepted when we send you written confirmation that your Application is accepted or that we are able to offer you a place on our summer camp, workshop or seminar (the "Confirmation"). We are free to accept or decline your Application at our absolute discretion.

1.2 At the point of our Confirmation, a contract will come into existence between us and you (the "Contract"). The Contract will continue until the completion of the summer camp, workshop or seminars, unless it is cancelled earlier in accordance with these Terms.

1.3 The Contract will be subject to these Terms and the Booking Form. We consider that these Terms and the Booking Form set out the entire agreement between you and us in relation to our summer camp, workshop or seminar

1.4 Please check that the details in these Terms and the Booking form are complete and accurate. If you think that there is a mistake in the Terms or the Booking Form or that they do not contain relevant information that you are relying on, please notify us and ask us to confirm any agreed changes in writing before you submit your Application.

1.5. We cannot accept your Application unless you are aged 13 to 18. By submitting your Application for Camp, you warrant that you are aged 13-18. If this turns out to be incorrect, we will be entitled to cancel the Contract on written notice to you.

1.6  PHOTO RELEASE each student/parent/guardian gives permission to The Artsy Institute to use the child’s name and/or picture in any paper, broadcast, or telecast without any obligation of anyone to compensation.

 1. 7 By contracting with The Artsy Institute the student acknowledges that he/she is participating as a representative of said organization at all times. 

 

FEES AND PAYMENTS

2.1 The Fees payable are as published on the Website.

2.2 Fees are payable in USD.

2.3 The Fees are payable at the same time as you submit your booking Form. If we do not accept your booking, we will refund to you any Fees you have paid within 14 days of rejecting your booking.

2.4 If you do not pay the Fees in accordance with these Terms you will not be entitled to start the Course.

2.5 All Fees can be paid by the following methods:

2.6 on-line by using your credit or debit card; or Paypal

2.7 by bank transfer. There will be an additional charge of $30 to cover bank charges, Please ensure you provide a transaction reference number;

2.8 by check made payable to The Artsy Institute as long as payment is made at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the summer camp, workshop or seminar

2.9 Our bank details for the purpose of paying the Fees are available on request.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

3.1 Space is limited and advance payment is required. Missed sessions are non-transferable to another date, and no partial refund is given for absence. In the event of extreme circumstances that prevent your child from attending camp, you may request a cancellation with the following schedule:

Cancellations received 60 days prior to the event - refunded 90%

Cancellations received 45 days prior to the event - refunded 75%

Cancellations received after 45 days but up to two weeks prior to session start date - refunded 25%

Cancellations received within two weeks of the event starting - refunded 0%

 

CANCELLATION BY THE ARTSY INSTITUTE

4.1 The Artsy Institute may cancel our summer camp, workshop or seminar no later than 72 hours prior to the start commencing, for example if there is insufficient demand for the camp.

4.2 The Artsy Institute may cancel our summer camp, workshop or seminar at any time if an event outside The Artsy Institute's control makes it impossible or impractical to start the camp (including unavailability or illness of a teachers where The Artsy Institute is unable to secure a suitable replacement).

4.3 Where The Artsy Institute cancels the camp, Participants will be given a full refund of any Fees already paid.

 

PICK UP/DROP OFF PROCEDURES

5.1 The Artsy Camp students should be dropped off at the designated location of the school at the front door - details shall be given two weeks prior to starting.

5.2 Parents are required to pick up or drop off students based on the registered time on the booking form (i.e. 8 or 9 am; and/or 5 pm) to avoid additional fees.
